will she ever lay normal?

I have 1 quail that ever since shes been laying(not long) she layse these monsters and poor bugger takes days off. will she ever fly right, or is it not possible. I really like her shes the biggest i have.
the largest is 0.8oz

Have you tried incubating it? It looks like it is a double yolker and held in the oviduct a bit too long by the looks of it. She may lay that type for the rest of her life. How old is she?

not very old yet, 8-10 weeks? she was picked out of a group of young ones that the lady guessed were about 7 weeks old. she has been laying for around a week maybe a bit more. I'm gonna toss them in the incubator, maybe end up with quailzilla haha. i have to imagine its a double though, just cant bring myself to break it! lol.

She is still young then so there is a possibility she can tone down the size of the egg or be prepared for breakfast eggs

lol, i suppose either way its good, i was just really hoping to get some of her offspring hatching. she nice and mellow and beefy lol. I tossed a couple in the bator anyways, i didnt have the heart to break em. will probably collect a bunch for eating now
