Will someone please tell me what this is?

I have several quail who have this sort of whatever hanging from their umbilical area. This one is the worst by far.

It's kind of hard to tell from the pic but it's usually the remains of the yolk sac. I usually let it dry on its own and if it's really bad and the other chicks start picking at it, I cut it off. Most of the chicks turn out fine but sometimes a few don't make it. Hope yours is ok!
