You ever have one of those days when you just don't want to go to work. I'm having one.
I just don't feel like going today. I wish someone would write me an excuse (note) for work so I can stay home on BYC all day.
Will someone write me an excuse for work.

Dear Sirs or Ma'ams,
Paddock will not be in to work today due to some unexpected urge not to. Normally it would be no problem to show up for work, but today just isn't one of those days. If it is necessary for me to come in, I will, but you will be subjected to crying, moaning & groaning ALL day, so I think it would be wise for me to stay home & recieve a huge dose of BYC therapy.

I actually called my boss one day and told him I needed a mental health day. I got it. It became a company practice later on, IF it wasn't a crunch day. We all did the job for the person out that day and usually it was fun and interesting!

In addition to giving them the card you got to do most of their job for them! Woot! People told me I was insane that no one would ever give them. I said it would do two things it would mean people would only use them if they really felt they needed them and people would be encouraged to show teamwork. And they did! It worked great. And when one woman was dealing with a family crisis the rest of the team all gave her cards so she could take the entire week off. And they covered for her.
