Hello I have 2 little eggs under a broody hen on day 20 now, still no pips or nothing.
Just to note, the hen layed the eggs on feb the 14 and 16 where they were stored at room temp and put under the hen around 7 pm feb 20
I’m starting to think that the eggs might hatch a little late because for the last mabye 1,5 weeks we have had really cold temps and snow,
When we first put them under the hen the temps were around 50 degrees the first 10-12 days but after that it has been around 15-20 degrees.
I candled them at day 14 and both were alive and healthy.
Do you think there is a chance they will hatch later?
