Hey first time egg hatcher here lol
Um well, we have made our own incubator and we have a 100w globe on top of a glass tank, with a lid and rested the eggs on straw. The humidity is at 40% and at first we made the mistake of having the light way too close to the eggs and it got up to 113 degrees f or 45 degrees c they were probably like that for the first 2 hours then we decided to raise the light and managed to get the temp perfect. But now im concerned about the eggs. Are they ruined now?
First day of incubating them and first hour I could not get the temperature right.

Are they ok??

it may be ok as long as it is about right now it is always best to set up for 24 hrs. before putting egg in incubator this way you can be sure temp is right
