will the grass grow back???

My chickens have been in the same area for a short time and the grass is gone, I plan to move them so they have grass to search through, but does anyone knows if the grass will come back????

Depends quite a lot on your particular grass, your particular soil, and how badly the chickens compacted and nitrogen-poisoned the soil.

If it hasnt been more than 6 months though, I would say in general it is likely your grass will eventually come back. More than that, and "it depends" too much to say.

They have been there a month at most

At only a month, I suspect it will grow back, although some weed seeds will probably have taken hold in the dirt as well.

A month? Reseed, water, and you should have no problem...

My chickens scratched and "tilled" our yard a few months ago and now it has all grown back even more lush than ever!
