Will they be okay??

I lay in bed at night wondering if I made the right decision. I switched them to layer feed today. They will be 4 months on wednesday.(16 weeks) Now I am reading up on the subject on BYC and some people are saying that it is just fine, and others are saying they could have major bone deformities. They eat more plants and scraps than their actual feed. They have plenty of fresh water and grit. Will they be fine?

I always put mine on Layers at 16 weeks and all have been fine so I doubt 3 days will make a difference. My friend put hers on layers at 14 weeks and were fine, but I wouldn't recomend doing that.

Some feeds even recommend putting them on layer feed at this time.

16 weeks is what we did with ours.
