I've 6 kakai cambells that I have been keeping with my hens.

Been thinking of putting them in a different area with my fish pond.

I've a few 15" Koi and goldfish of all sizes, from babies.

I wouldnt like to see the fish eaten, what do you think???????????

Yes they will eat your fish. We have a large pond with 12-24in koi, goldfish of all sizes, and guppies in it. We let our black swedes stay outside the other night and I woke up to see them sleeping with a dead 6-8 in long goldfish between them. It was there prize I guess because once they woke up the female caried it back into the pond for them to try and eat. They couldn't eat it all they just picked the scales and fins off. They dive and try to catch the fish. So if you want your fish then don't let the ducks stay in the pond long. Anything they can get a hold of with there mouths is fare game. My large kois haven't gotten bothered but I am sure if they pick at them enough it could kill them.

On the other hand my ducks are in heaven when they are swimming in the pond.

I periodically buy feeders and let the ducks have a blast. I do, however, have one really smart (or really FAST) feeder fish that evaded the ducks. It is now about 6" long.

Will feeding the ducks fish make the taste of their eggs stronger? I read that somewhere, but since mine have not started laying yet, I have no idea.
