Will they have horns?

WOW bro, welcome to backyardCHICKKENS.com to answer your question, no, chickens dont have horns. im a farmer

Ummm, I think that OP may have been referring to goats?????

If he is bred to a hornless goat he can still produce a baby with horns, but much less likely. I have seen one horn grow, short horns, curled deformed looking horns, so it is anybodies guess.

chickenns DONT have horns. go to backyardgoats.com \\for your troubles. not the place friends

Im not sure. I have a nanny that is poled and her doeling is also poled. The father had horns. I do know that you do not want to breed two poled goats. I think it could go either way.

The site you quoted is not working. You quoted: "backyardgoats.com \\". I also tried "www.backyardgoats.com" and it's a religious site.

Polled is dominent, horns are recessive. Assuming the polled parent is heterzygous (one polled gene, one horn gene), half of the kids will be polled and half would have horns. If the polled parent is homozygous (unlikely) all of the kids will be polled. Look at the top of the kid's head. If there is a little swirl where the horn would be, the kid will have horns. If it is smooth, and you can move the skin over the area where the horn would grow, that kid will be polled.
