Last year, August 5th 2022, my 4 Pekin ducks were attacked by a wild predator. 1 was killed and the 3 others were all injured. While they did recover, shortly after they molted then West Michigan winter came shortly after that. They have not laid 1 egg since August 7th, which was not a fully formed egg. I cannot even imagine the stress and trauma they suffered. My question is if they will ever lay again or if they are just done. It's been 7 full months without eggs. They were born Mother's Day 2020, so they will be 3 this May.
If it's likely they will not lay again, would they be of any edible quality?
