Will this hurt their feet?

I need to terrace the interior of our run a bit. It's slope and anything I put down to cover the dirt (mulch, pine needles...) end up being scratched down to the lowest corner, leaving bare dirt/mud in the hi point and mulch or whatever in the low area.

Would something like this hurt their feet if they were to stand on it too long?

I don't have an wood to use and thought this terrace boad would be easier.

Yeah i think that may work,
just make sure it isnt too slippy because if they come inside the coop with wet feet they may slide about which isnt good for their legs as they are breakable..

But otherwise fab idea!!!
