I want to raise pouters, german modenas and white homers. I was wondering if they all had there lofts, were already paired and conditioned to home, then could I let them all out to fly together without them interbreeding. Don't ask why I would let them all out at the same time. LOL. thanks

crossing breeds , should only be done to make new breeds or improve a breed. IMO cost as much to feed a cross breed as a top show bird.

I thought of an idea that may prove to be suitable. If I had just two breeds such as english pouters and homers, then the cocks wouldn't be able to fertilize the other breeds eggs because of the size difference (I've experienced this with chickens). So do you think that there would be a big enough size difference between the english pouters and either german modenas or homers so that my idea may work?

thanks

WOULD NOT THINK THAT WOULD BE 100% SUCCESSFUL JUST MY THINKING IF YOU HAD EQUAL MALES AND FEMALES OF EACH BREED IT WOULD BE THE BEST WAY NO WAY IS 100%

I tried that and it did not work, Result was a couple of crosses between an American Giant Homer and Swiss Mondaine, Not bad looking youngsters but cross bred
