The Windham Planning Board voted, unanimously, last night to recommend the Town Council pass the ordinance allowing up to 12 hens in areas zoned Light Residential and Moderate Residential!

Thats fantastic!! I am very glad to hear that!!!
I heard from a waterville city limit resident that anyone can have chickens under maine's "right to farm" law. I'd never heard of it and since I don't live in city limits or a city for that matter, but might be something to look into for those that want chickens and they live where they are "banned"
