We have a window in the back of our coop. I open it every morning and close it at night. There is a screen in it.
I don't like going into the poopy coop unless i really have to.
Dh covered it with chicken wire. It's a ways off the ground.
Would it be ok to leave it open all night with the chicken wire on it.....or could a critter climb the wall, take off the chicken wire and push through the screen???

Sorry for the silly question. Dh thinks it should be fine but i worry that predators are everywhere and will do anything to get my babies.

I'd personally cover that window with hardware cloth if you are wanting to leave it open at night.

Chicken wire keeps chickens in but it won't keep predators out, at all! Racoons can and will tear through it (chicken wire) all too easily.
