How long does it take for wing feathers to molt out and new ones grow in? I'm curious if my little roo, Fancy, will ever recover from having all his wing feathers plucked, from since he was very young. The chicken that did this to him has now been gone for several weeks and I see new growth but only some of the feathers have grown back and some of them are twisted funny.

He is so akward and off balance when trying to run as well as get up to roost...

They should usually grow back in two or three months, unless the wings were also damaged. The feathers should start to grow straight soon.

Thank you!! I've been so worried. He has been growing so fast and looks like he is gonna be a beautiful rooster, so I was worried about that wing filling out.
