So this is something I've noticed become increasingly common with most of my ducks and was wondering what it meant. I used to only see it when they were bathing.
But they seem to do whenever we go out for a walk or come home after a long period of time now. Personally I think it has something to do with them being happy or content, but I was curious what other's take was on it?

Unfortunately up until now she's always had buddies. My blue runner died while under a petsitter's care while we were away a couple weeks ago. She was with the chickens for a bit but they started singling her out, so they got separated.
At the moment we're in the middle of a move and figured it would be better to wait until things get settled and then get new birds. Just because it would be less stressful for both parties.

I’m sorry you lost your Runner. That’s sad. I’m sure having you spend so much time with her will help a lot till you can get her more friends. Had you ever used this pet sitter before?
