Wing Injury

Any advice please? Looks like one of my hens has broken a wing? She can’t lay it flat. She seems ok otherwise.

If vet care is an option, that would be my first choice, an xray would be helpful. If that is not an option, the attachment below gives instructions on how to examine for and splint various fractures, with helpful pictures. Avian skeleton diagram on page 10, and wing injuries are pages 11 -16. Lots of good info on the pages before that also.

Thank you! Yes I will be getting her seen to by a vet....it does seem to look a bit better already though - laying a lot flatter....don’t like the thought of her being uncomfortable and in pain. Thanks for the info
