wing ripped off

My meat bird coop was attacked by what I suspect was a racoon and one of my buff orpington's wings was ripped clean off. The bleeding had stopped on its own by the time I found him. What should I do? Clean it? let nature take its course? Its a bird that I would eventually kill and eat but is only 8 weeks old and too small to eat now. He is seperated from the others with his own food an water.

I would either treat it, or put him out of his misery.

He seems to be doing well. I think he will be fine as long as it doesnt get infected.
