I am so sorry for your loss. I was cleaning up some old Pms a week ago and came across one from you- it reminded me of your little duck and I nearly sent you a message then to ask how Winston / Winnie was doing.

It must have been a terrible experience for you all.

She really was absolutely gorgeous...

Thank you all for your kind words and sympathy during this very difficult time. I miss her sooo much and so does her mate emeril. I just wish we would have gotten that call right away and ran out there immediately, if we did she would probably still be with us. She was a very special girl

I feel your pain. I once had a special duck, "Skittles", who was taken by a predator along with the other ducks all in one night.

I too lost my favorite girl to a hawk attack last week.

I have never had the problem, but now I know what to do to get it fixed in a timely manor if I do.. thank you, as you may have saved a duck neither of us has met yet.
