I took a video of my chooks this morning for my family who are in the southwest. I thought you might enjoy it.
There was another brown pullet who, before this was taken, stood at the doorway and would not venture out into the snow. When I 'encouraged' her with a gentle nudge with the toe of my boot, she FLEW across the run and sat on top of the chicken wire at the end of the run. When I walked around to get her to move, she FLEW back to the door and went inside. And stayed there. By herself. She didn't touch the snow.
