Winter Time

Hello. I have two chickens, a rooster and a hen. We had to separate them a few months ago and they haven't been together since then. Winters coming up and it's going to get cold and I don't know if I should keep them separated or put them back together. Anyone have any suggestions?

What was the reason for separating them? While they could generate more warmth together, if they have adequate shelter, they should be fine without being reintroduced (especially if they don't get along).

My rooster was being to rough with her. I think that's what I'll do and see how it goes. Thank you for the help!
