Winter treats and supplements

Starting to cool off around here. I make small batches of oatmeal to give to the girls for warming up in the morning. Sometimes I add leftovers to it. Got me wondering though if anyone adds things to treats to help their chickens over the winter, Either for comfort or health?

Mine get oatmeal flakes in with the wet feed once in a while.
Things to break the coop boredom like a butternut squash cut in half, an apple on a string, a chair set in the coop so they have even more things to hop on.

Of course if they get a squash then I do not pass out any scratch.

I never feed oatmeal to my Birds....They eat the same feed all year around....In winter I toss some Alfalfa hay out to them to scratch and forage through....Sometimes buy them a spaghetti squash and cook it in the microwave.....Whole pumpkin or toss out some thawed frozen veg.....
