I started my flock last spring and have been getting beautiful eggs all summer, fall and although production has slacked off in the winter I am still getting a decent amount of eggs. I have 22 hens and I am getting 12 or 13 eggs a day right now. My question is, when it's cold outside and the eggs are in the coop for a few hours is it ok to let them come back to room temp and leave out on the counter? Or should the eggs be refrigerated because they are cold.

I just leave mine on the bench, the cold doesn’t do anything to eggs that’s why you don’t have to refrigerate them.
