Miss Prissy just had instructions in her last home made bator post a few days ago. Try searching there to see of you can find it.

Guess the fan must have come today,

Good luck!

Your fan should say the voltage (probably 12) and amps that it wants.

Then you find a transformer that has the same voltage, and equal or smaller number for the amps. I'm assuming you know what a transformer is?

You cut the end off the of the transformer and connect the wires to those on your fan. If the fan doesn't run, reverse your wires and try it again.

You can either wire it up to the other bator wiring or just plug it in and use it.

Thanks!!!

BeardedChick...It is 12v but doesn't say how many amps...?? Any way to figure this out?

Thanks for all the help!

The pc fans I've seen recently all use less than 500 milliamps..
1/2 an amp .5 amp..

I currently have a .15 amp fan running with a 200ma power supply in my homemade incubator..
Hope that helps
