Wobble??? ! Chirp!!!! HATCH!!!!! Pics!

It's day 15, and I just went to check on the quail eggs.... I think I saw one wobble a smidge. Wishful thinking or should I start fussing with the brooder now?

They can hatch anywhere from day 15 to day 21....but you probably just bumped it

It wouldn't hurt to have the brooder ready for them though

i would get the brooder ready. mine started rocking and two days later, they all popped out!

Nope I wasn't touching it (had knelt down but wasn't yet messing with door). I slid a paper towel under the eggs, and one ROCKED in my hand.

Temps have been a bit warm this hatch so i think they're impacient.

I did..... Boyd was nice enough to explain it all step by step on the phone... and my mind has gone completely blank!

Brooder has a light available (the room is 90 degrees, so it's a normal 60 watt) a thermomoter (digital) in there, bottom lined with paper towels. I got some of those glass "rocks" they use in flower arranging, and some 24% gamebird starter mash; 5lbs, hubby bought home a surprize bag of it (He actually LISTENED when i went on and on about different feeds)!

It's sprinkling outside, so air humidity is going up too!

Anything i've forgotten?

I was less nerious when I had a baby than this. Mind you when I last had a baby the EMT in the ambulance freaked out and begged me not to push though.
