so, I'm pretty new to chickens, but I've fallen in love with them! My problem is I want them all... I have an acre of land... how many chickens can I raise on it? I want them comfortable! any help is greatly appreciated!

It all depends on the facilities you have to house them in not the number of acres you have

It varies by county. You need to check your county ordinances. You can probably do it on line.

so another question..
why do some of my chickens like to sleep in the old dog houses instead of either of the coups?
seems strange to me. lol

They could be like mine and live in them.... I dont have a "coop" i have dog houses sat on top of skids....it works all the same
