Can a male make sure more than 1 females eggs are fertilized. Cause I plan on incubating a lot of the eggs and letting some of the eggs be hatched by the males. Let me know cause I'd rather have more eggs laid if possible thank you
You're better off with a one to one ratio.. OR more males than females .. the female will mate with one male and lay eggs for him.. once he starts setting the nest she will move on to another mate if one is available that she likes...
I know of a local farmer that has two males per female.. he said that keeping the males apart is the trickiest part once the females start laying and choosing mates... he has had at least one female that has mated with three males in a season...
