It is 1am where I am right now and I get up at 6. My one and only chick wont be quiet in his brooder. What can I do

He needs friends. You could try and give him a mirror to try and get through the night, but you’ll need to get him friends ASAP. If you can‘t get any siblings or friends for him then you’ll need to find him a different home. Chicks are like humans, they need friends or siblings. The only way around this would be if he was being raised by a hen, but he isn’t. I know people over in America have said you can get chicks from Tractor Supplies, but as a none American I don’t know where else you can get chicks.

Oh god. One egg is halfway through hatching in the incubator right next to the brooder where the chick is. Im so tired and have the little chick standing on the desk right infront of the keyboard as im typing this. Can I put the chick back into the incubator? It is still feeding off its yolk.

There is another egg hatching in the incubator right now, should hatch by 6am but I already pulled an all nighter last night...

I generally leave them in the incubator until I have 2 or 3 hatched to avoid this. It should be fine to put it back in. If all else fails, put a mirror in there with a soft fluffy stuffed animal, put in some ear plugs and turn on a white noise app. Make sure the brooder is at 95 degrees and the chick is dry (you've probably done this already but just in case you're new to hatching). Good luck!
