Won't lay

I have this one chicken whose about a year old, and she still doesn't lay all the other hens do.

It could just be poor genetics. She may have an injury that prevents it. Sometimes, you just never know with chickens.

How many hens do you have?
Are you sure one is not laying?

They don't all lay every day. some only lay a few a week depending on breed.
So sometimes you will never get 4 eggs out of 4 hens on the same day.

I have 6 and there all rode island red, never got more than five eggs a day, iv seen all the other hens lay.

I don't know any of the injuries, sorry. I've heard other people had chickens who just never started laying, however.

If a hen has never laid an egg but appears healthy and active it could just be a genetic anomaly in her reproductive tract rather than an injury or disease.
The only was to know for sure would be to examine her internally once you give up and make her soup.
