Won't roost

I've been raising layer hens for several years now. I have Leghorns,Orpingtons, and Barred Rocks. About 30 hens in all. I wanted some colored eggs, so I ordered a dozen auracanas, may be miss spelled. These new birds are about 3 months old, and they are still sleeping on the ground. I put a few older hens with them 2 weeks ago, thinking they might catch on.
Should I be concerned? Should I do something else? Can't recall having this problem before .

Are the older girls letting them up Ilona the roosts? Is there enough space?

following, I have a polish that doesn't stay on the roost. She is either on the ground or in the nesting box. I am trying to break her of the habit of being in the nesting box.

There is plenty space. Haven't watched interactions at roost time. May be some bullying.
