I have a baby chick she was born Sunday, and she will not straighten one leg, she keeps it bent, I can straighten it and it doesn't seem to hurt her but she chirps a lot and I think it hurts her to straighten it out and try to walk because she's constantly keeping it bent. Should I try to put something solid around her leg so she has it casted straight and can't bend it? Or should I leave her like this and hope it heals on its own? Poor baby I really want her to make it and I don't know what to do for her.

Could be a slipped tendon, I have a chick right now with a slipped tendon and their issue kind of looks the same

Is there anything you can do for them?
In the first 24 ish hours you can pop the tendon back in place and brace it, but after that I still haven't found a way to help the chick other than keeping it away from the other chickens and if it's walking on it put a padding of some sort so it doesn't open the wound and get infection
