Wood chips in run?

Can I use these wood chips in my chicken run? We are redoing our front flower bed and removing all these wood chips. Instead of just getting rid of them I was wondering if I could repurpose them and put in my run. They don’t smell and have never been sprayed with any chemicals. Please let me know? Thanks

Yes I mulch my runs with that if they are in a rainy muddy area and it’s always worked well
