Hello all I had my wood duck hen hatch out 8 ducklings about 3 weeks ago and I took them from her to raise them inside everything it’s going really well and they are eating fine and growing normal I’m just curious if I’m doing some things right I’ve had them in 30% protein game bird food it’s that okay ? And if so when should I switch them and should I switch them to a flock raiser also I’ve been Supplementing niacin with nutritional yeast when should I stop doing that ?

I'd switch them at 6-8 weeks old to a 16% protein feed. The yeast you can keep until about 6-8 months. just watch out, woodies are VERY sneaky! I probably lost Peter my hen wood duck about 100 times!!!! sometimes even for hours. Peter is the duck in my profile pic
