Wood shaving stuck in nare

My sweet Americauna cockerel has a wood shaving stuck in his nare. I have to run out and get some tweezers.

Does this happen a lot? This little guy has been through everything lol

It's a freak accident I'm sure, but roosters seem to get into more trouble than hens lol.

Once you remove the shaving from his nare, look closely for any cuts or abrasions. If you see any, just put a dab of Neosporin on a q-tip and gently apply it in his nare as best as you can. That should be all you need to do.
