Wooden eggs.

Craft store? We are not yet at that point with our chickens (considering they don't hatch until next weekend, lol). But I've bought wooden eggs for my kids' play kitchen at JoAnn's. I think any craft store would have them in with the wooden craft stuff.

I think these are the ones we have, they are about the size of a large/XL egg. Pretty cheap, especially with a coupon, no shipping cost if you have a JA nearby ;) http://www.joann.com/decorative-woo...ect&pmin=0&sz=90&prefv1=false&pmax=5&start=13

Thank you both. We do have a JoAnns, Michael's and a Hobby Lobby but I didn't know they had wooden eggs. I have only seen, without looking into it, paper mache' eggs.

I just want them to get the hens to lay in the same places without risking the fresh eggs going bad. Sylvia
