Wooppee finally a broody.

Here I go. I was not going to hatch till May but one of my hens decided otherwise. So I gave her 8 Dell. eggs (Kathyinmo dells) to set on. She seems happy. Now only 21 days to goo........

Well Its her first time so keep your fingers crossed for her. here she goes any way. She is a bit of a spas. An Ameracuana. Keep your fingers crossed for her.

It feels great doesn't it!!! I have a broody finally too, she is a Java I acquired last year and so I wasn't for sure how good she is at being a good broody so I sat her with 9 of our barnyard mix, she is on day 2...hatch date is April 6th!

... I also have a BA that has went broody before and is an excellent momma, waiting on her to decide if she wants to do it again and getting eggs from my SIL who has BA's and BO"S ... The hen didn't do it til late summer last year but I'm hoping her hormones kick in early
