Im so exited!I bought a pair of muscovys yesterday and also a trio of coturnix quail and both layed eggs TODAY!!So I begged my mom and we ordered the Brinsea eco for my first incubator!I thought it was a good choice and it was on sale for only $65.But now ive run into a problem and I need your opinions. So the scovies layed an egg and so did the quail today.Im probably going to get the incubator in a few days so when I do get it what eggs should I incubate? The scovy eggs or the quail eggs?

Sorry I don't know much about quail.Never raised them but from what I have read they have a shelf life of about 7 days.If you get your bator in the next couple of days the duck egg's should be pretty viable.I have hatched 10/ 12 day old duck egg's before.Just keep them upright and dont let them get too warm.I have reg. cellar at 58-62 where I would store my egg's for shipping.Maybe someone else here can chime in on the quail.Good luck and happy hatching.
