Ok so I was at DG the other day and happened into a conversation with a man there, we discussed DE, and of course chickens. He asked about my flock and vice versa, Well I mentioned that I thought I would like to have a Delaware Roo, he said he had one and that I could have it if I wanted it. Well I went and looked at his birds yesterday and went back last night and ended up coming home with three roos, and two very pretty setting hens, for nothing. He is gathering some eggs for me or should I say for the hens,

and I am picking them up tomorrow. How cool is that? Aren't chicken people great,

I wish some would "enable" me to have more than 3! And I agree, chicky people are the best!

Make sure you quaratine the new additions and read about the link on quarantining first....several people have lost otherwise healthy birds by not doing so.
