i bought this cool rooster weather vane today but the South arrow was missing. The store was about to close and it was close to the time to put chickens away. It was driving me nuts without that south arrow.

So I turned on the electric fence and told my female German Shepherd to watch the chickens.

I got back at dusk and this is how I found her--completely watching the chickens. She didn't even get up when she heard me come home. Her and Prince-the rooster kind of like each other. A half hour later she switched positions but was still on watch.

I have 3 of them, she is the one with the strongest obedience. The other two will check on the chickens periodically. She is more serious and takes her job seriously. She would stay in a stay for hours until I released her.

I really like that these dogs, the rooster and I all work as a team.

I got it on clearance from 40 to 10...it definitely looks better with all arrows...lol

We can't forget the rooster chimes...

My chimes are an added alert system . Anything climbs on the run and they go off---lol

Gotta think out of the box with raccoons.
