Peanut, World’s Oldest Chicken

I heard this on NPR and had to share it with those of us here who love our chickens: an interview with Marsi Darwin, owner of Peanut, a 21-year-old Bantam, winner of Guinness Book’s oldest living chicken award.

Peanut was amazing, she lived life to the fullest, but sadly passed away Christmas Day. I think we all know how special our feathered friends are on this forum regardless of the time they share with us on earth. May Peanut be welcomed into the great chicken coop in the sky with open wings by all the greats that have gone before her.
