Worm tug-o-war!

I gave my chicks a worm....at first they were terrified of it, but once they figured it out the fun began! Here is a short video..

My son had to watch that 3 or 4 times. He cracked up every time. Today, we gave our chicks mealworms for the first time.

haha isn't that the best? I gave the babies a bug today, and they ran around the brooder playing keep away. so fun to watch =] thanks for sharing.

I gave mine a small worm today for the first time too. and some grit.

The RIR's wouldn't have a thing to do with it, until one of the yellow ones got it - then the RIR's turn into meanies despite being smaller.

In the end the yellow one tricked them - left it laying down so the RIR's ignored it then she grabbed it and sneaked off into the corner while they were busy scratching in the grit!
