WormGaurd Plus w/flax seed Question

I have some WormGarud Plus w/falx seed that I ordered from MM. I just got it about 4 days ago, but haven't used it yet. My question is, should I? As far as I know my chickens don't have worms, but should it be used as a preventative?

I got that last year and no you dont need to withdraw eggs for eating. I ate the eggs just fine. It stated on the package that it is all natural and you can eat eggs. I use them for preventative measures.

I just buy flax seed at the Health Food store, mix it in the feed along with some DE - so far so good.
