It's been a while since I asked for help but I could really use some good information.
I had a young EE die recently. Only a few months old. I bought new chicks this spring at Rural King and after a few weeks a couple of them started to sound croupy. I did the Vet RX, and on one of them that really sounded bad I put Vicks under her wings and around her beak.
The next day she sounded great. I still have a few that sound hoarse. They are not showing any signs of runny noses, eat and play well. When the EE died I found mites on her. So I have ordered Elector PSP Premise spray to do my birds and the coop. The coop is kept clean but it has been a damp summer here. I have never wormed my birds and I have bought Wazine to do a first worming. Some do have the "runs" and smell really bad. My question is, for the next worming cycle what do I buy and how much do I give them? Also details on what I'm looking for..lol It's easy to get confused in the store and the people working there I do not trust at all! I have a mixed flock of old and young ones. I was also told that my putting DE around may have given them breathing problems, thought it was safe to use. My hubby is talking about getting rid of my girls
and I love them very much so I could really use some advice.
