Hi everyone,
I have 1 out of my 8 hens that are molting just around her hiney so far. Lots of feathers but she has some replacing those as well now. I wormed them all 30 days ago for round worms which I have to say am having a hard time keeping them from getting them. Since she is molting is it ok to worm her also? I have to break this worm cycle and it says 30 days later do it again. I am using wazine. She's not laying of corse but I had 2 weeks of her in the kitchen precious to this molt where I thought I was going to loose her. I'm alittle nervous. I now realize she was going into molt and that was causing her to look like she was very sick. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Should be fine. You can also switch her to a feed with more protein to help support her through the molt; 18% should be adequate. Some feed stores carry a special molting feed, but regular non-medicated grower will do just fine.

Will the added protein hurt the others? I have been feeding scrambled eggs 2-3x a week as a snack as well as she free ranges for 4-5 hours a day. Sorry so many ? But there seems to never be an exact fix for the issues they have lol

The added protein is fine. Many people keep flocks of mixed ages and species on even higher protein feeds - I myself feed 22% turkey grower year round in all of my pens except my rooster pen, because that's the only one with just 1 age group/species.

Scrambled eggs should be OK too, I'm not sure how well the chicks will be able to eat them, but they won't hurt them.
