Hi Everyone,

Do I need to worm my adult chickens? I was thumbing through the Wilco catalog, and they had wormer for chickens, so that got me wondering. What are the signs & symptoms of worms in chickens? I am loving my girls. I had no idea having chickens would be so much fun!

Thanks,

Dee

Opinions vary about worming. Some do it once or twice a year, as a preventative.
I don't actually worm unless I see worms in their poop. Which, despite our climate, is very rare.

DE, along with some other natural choices, is considered a preventive and should not be relied on to remove a heavy wormload.
