Hi all,

I need some advise on how to handle treatment. I've got one (out of 6) hens that has scaly leg mites. First of all, can only 1 bird be affected? Seems strange to me but none of the others seem to be affected. I've treated with Vaseline this week and there is improvement. They've never been wormed (9 months old) and I haven't seen any visible signs, but after reading a ton on the forums I'd like to treat them.

I was thinking Wazine, followed 10 days later by Eprinex for the scaly leg mites, and save Valbazen for the next worming treatment down the road. And of course a good coop cleaning and dusting.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I'd spray the legs AND the roosts with vegetable oil, and NOT worry about worming if you haven't seen any symptoms
