Does anyone deworm their chickens? How do I go about getting wormers (vet, online, store?)?

You can buy goat de wormer, valbzen? for chickens, follow the directions on the box. There's a 2 week egg withdrawal period.

Where do you live? Different medications are easier/harder to get depending on the country you live in.

Fenbendazole seems to be the easiest to acquire in North America.

Directions for dosing poultry is not in the directions on the box or bottle since both would be used off label.

For chickens:
Safeguard (Fenbendazole) dosing is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once then repeated in 10 days for Roundworms Only.

Safeguard (Fenbendazole) dosing is 0.23 per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days to treat most worms that chickens can have including roundworms, but not tapeworms.

Valbazen (Albendazole) dose is 0.08ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days.
