I wormed almost 2 weeks ago with piperazine after one of my approx. 1 year old sick hens expelled a load of roundworms in a warm bath. My almost 1 year old barred rock today just pooped diarrhea and I saw some very small worms moving in it for a couple of seconds before they died. Should the piperazine have taken care of them all by now?

It is designed stun the worms and allow them to flush out, if it has been 2 weeks then follow up with a broad spectrum wormer to get rid any newly hatched or remaining worms. Sort of breaks the cycle.

thanks for your response. I know the piperazine is just suppose to stun the worms. I started them (and I realize some people might not agree with this) on verm-x natural dewormer. I was just curious how long it takes for the worms to all be expelled.
