For the last few days, I've noticed that my chickens have had very watery poop. Today, however, I saw a small, yellowish worm wiggling around in one. I didn't see which bird dropped it but I haven't seen the worms from any other birds, just this one occasion. Everyone is eating and drinking fine - no lethargicness or anything. All of my chickens are free-range, if that changes anything. So, how do I combat the worms? Does this mean all of my chickens have them? Also, can worms kill chickens if untreated for too long?

That is a round worm. Valbazen 1/2 ml for an average size hen orally once and again in 10 days will treat that. If you use SafeGuard liquid goat worme, the dosage is 0.25 ml (1/4 ml per pound given orally and repeated in 10 days for round worms only,) but to treat other worms, you can give it for 5 consecutive days.

Thank you so much - you are a lifesaver!
