So I recently adopted three bantams. They have what I suspect to be scaly leg mites. I was treating the youngest just now, and she pooped. And now I have worms to deal with as well.
Lighting is bad, but there were definitely big, live worms. They are all very skinny and underweight, so I'm not at all surprised.
Any advice would be great, as I've not had to deal with this before.

The dewormers available will depend on where you live.
I do not know if "Orpington-Land" is situated in Europe, Australia, New Zealand or South America.

I'm in Ireland. Any idea on the type of worm?
We're in lockdown again now, which makes things harder.

round worm.

I guess you have milk, garlic, hot pepper. boil it and when it cools down give it to your chickens (put some feed or bread in it so that they eat it). that will help to expell some worms till you get a medicine. even mixing hot pepper with their feed can be useful.

try to get a wormer for pigeons (ascapilla +) or some dog/cat wormer. chickens need double dose of dog/cat wormers (eg. a dog pill is for 10 kg dog's body weight - 5 kg of chicken's weigt).

good luck.

Now I'm seeing blood as well. Would worms cause that too?

I assume the other two have worms as well...but this one is so tiny. She's only about 8 weeks. I hope she'll be okay.
I can't find that near me. We have Verm X...I assumed that was a preventative though.
